how long has WPDC--1600 been off the air ? Is it for sale ?
 
did the owner turn off WPDC & leave town at midnight?
this will be happening to many AM stations soon .
many are worth only the land they are on.
 
According to the Lancaster newspaper, WPDC was sold to an unknown buyer.

After the sale of WOYK, WPDC couldn't cut it with NBC Sports and nothing local.
 
And---- some stations lease the tower site & studios. Do not own them.
Only hold the FCC licence which for many AM stations is worthless.
