TV-radio news alliances to change

JeffM

Star Participant
A recent shift in news agreements between Duluth TV and radio stations... Granite Broadcasting's KBJR/KDLH-TV ("Northland's News Center"), which for several years have provided radio news capsules to Townsquare's Duluth radio stations (Kool 101.7, B-Country 105, Mix 108, WEBC) are switching to a partnership with Midwest Radio (KDAL-AM-FM, WDSM, KDWZ, Kat Country 99, and WGEE.) The Townsquare stations will soon be airing local news segments produced by Hubbard Broadcasting's WDIO-TV.

The Granite-Midwest deal will also include a 6-7 AM TV simulcast of an hour of KDAL-AM's "Pat & Pat Show" (Pat Cadigan and Pat Kelly, with newscaster Dave Kuharski) over Granite's KDLH-TV.
