KDLC 97.7 is now on air as sunny 97.7

One of the stations won by Alex Media at action in 2011, has been put on air in Houma by Coast Radio Group (owners of WGUO Gumbo 94.9) as Soft Rock Sunny 97.7 KDLC dulac. The station broadcasts at 100kw from Theriot and has a sound more like 96.1 the river than majic out of New Orleans.

Two years later and this alleged "soft rock" plays hardly any soft rock music anymore. In fact, unless they affiliate with Westwood One (which has a lite AC format), soft rock is dead. Adult Top 40 (to challenge Voodoo 104) might be a better route.
