VOA Site-A, Beaufort, NC "Sold"

Interesting thought...........will the equipment go with the site, or will it appear on a future GSA Auction?
There's a lot of good stuff at those transmitter sites. Not just big transmitters and antennas, but lots of audio processors, routing systems, distribution, etc.

Ken,

I've gotten the impression if it was any good and could be used over at B Site, it was moved.

The HVAC in the building has been off for years and I supsect might be a bit interesting to move around in the building.

Does this become a county park, like the old VOA site in Ohio. (It's known as "VOA Park" and the transmitter building and some equipment remains as a museum and meeting room

We'll have to wait and see. It didn't sound like they had definite plans, other than harvesting some timber from part of it.
