Larry "Night Train" Lane, who was once a star on Quixie (WQXI-AM) at night and much later handled overnights on B98.5, has passed away. He also served as Public Service Director for B98.5 and did work behind the scenes at WSB-TV.

Great guy. Yes, Venus was his character on KRP.
Sad to hear, he was a very talented broadcaster and great guy.
