1390, 1420, 1490 to comedy in Champlain Valley

Fybush.com (Northeast Radio Watch free this week)
says WCAT 1390 Burlington, WRSA 1420 St Albans and
WFAD 1490 Middlebury, all Vermont are flipping to
Clear Channel's new comedy service. Had been
Sports, oldies etc. Not sure what else could wind up on stations
like that other than nostalgia, talk (aging audience
though) or perish forbid, live and local news, music, talk...
(Would be nice but they prob wouldn't spend the money)

That is funny, but not in a good way. What about 107.1 out of P-burg. They are teasing a new radio format called The Barrel?They are playing a loop of the Beer Barrel Polka. Can't wait to hear what that is all about.
 
We'll have to see what becomes of that..Meanwhile the cruisin oldies FM the 3 AMs were
simulcasting, WIFY 93.7 Addison is now
a simulcast of AAA ThePoint.
