Nelson Gomez has won the AM 1470 at Coalinga over the Huron application at auction. (( The Huron app was only a back-fill to allow the relocation of KZLA 98.3 )). Nelson Gomez is asking to build a 4 tower -- offset antenna system -- northeast of town - that will allow the new station to use 1 KW fulltime (DA-2). The daytime signal is pointed south and the night signal goes Southwest -- out to SEA. But it does give Coalinga a new radio signal. Good luck Nelson.
