Getting listed on Windows Radio Guide

They seem to put you through the loops to get listed......and I'm not sure how many listeners actually use them.

There is some kind of CONTRACT you have to sign (releasing your content). This seems to be the most "involved" application other than iTunes, so far.

I thought the process for getting listed in Windows Media was considerably more involved than the iTunes directory. And, I got nowhere with them. Didn't bother resubmitting the Windows Media app.

UPDATE:
The Windows Media Internet Radio Guide listing really paid off! The fact that they are smaller than iTunes and able to reach places where iTunes lags (like Japan and Brazil) is in their favor. They chose my station as an "Editors Pick" which put it in the Top 4 for the Dance genre (which lasts a week or longer) as they rotate stations. Listenership was up 60% during that period.....but has since lowered to up 18%. iTunes has too many stations listed under one genre and most (like mine) just get lost in their mess.

Also, the Windows player seems to be (is) more stable than the Flash Player.

Glad to hear it paid off. I am a bit surprised though. I wouldn't think anyone really pays much attention to anything Windows Media anymore.
