What's going on with WPOZ and 106.3?

I’ve been a long-time listener of 106.3 W292DZ “The Rock.” Just today the announced they would no longer be heard on 106.3, but only 103.7 W279CT. Their TOH also goes by WPOZ-HD4 and WMYZ-HD4, rather than each station’s HD3 channels The Rock has been heard on for some time now. I’m not in the area, but can somebody who is report what’s going on? What (if anything) is on WPOZ-HD3, and what’s being broadcast on 106.3 in Orlando? Thank you!

Heard the message on 106.3 too saying that The Rock is now 103.7 which is 180 watts directional out of Clermont.

http://www.radio-locator.com/cgi-bin/pat?call=W279CT&service=FX&status=L&hours=U That signal is terrible where I live by Universal Studios (106.3 was a little bit better). There's tons of complaints on their face book page now about the loss of the 106.3 analog signal in metro Orlando. Just goes to show very few own an HD radio. Speaking of HD WPOZ is using an HD4 now? How many streams can a station run without hurting their sound quality? And the next question is what are they going to put on it?

The Wolf could be the deal

Heard that they also bought "The Wolf" domain - not sure if it's a bluff, but a second country station could work - with country as hot as it is lately.

According to another radio website the domain name of Glory 106.3 has been registered. http://radioinsight.com/blog/headlines/netgnomes/89567/orlandos-rock-moving-to-bring-glory/
Sounds like Glory 106.3 will either be a Gospel or Southern Gospel format. It's a shame they had to blow up a good rock format for this, but even non coms need to make money.
They have now interjected a new message on 106.3 saying that you could also hear 103.7 The Rock on one of the 3 HD-4's of WPOZ (88.3 & two other full power simulcasts, 88.7 in Clermont & 91.1 in Palm coast) and you should stop being a cheapskate and buy an HD radio. Really? Kind'a rude for a Christian station to say that. For one thing there are not many HD radios out there (like there ever was, especially in the big box stores) unless you really do the research. And another thing, even though HD signals and the few receivers out there have begun to get better, they are still not as good as they should have been by now.

Or you can listen to it on tunein and on their app on your phone. Depending on what carrier you have you can hear it without much buffering.

I don't think Christian Country is even an established music format, or even a more popular genre than Christian Rock.
I think it's going to be Gospel as "Glory 106.3".

"The Wolf" domain is probably Tim Wolf's personal website coming soon.

Wouldn't be surprised if the new station is simply "G 106.3" for branding/imaging. Gospel also very likely.

Just heard the launch of G 106.3. Now Orlando has 3 Gospel stations, this one on FM and 2 AM's, 1680 WOKB which also runs a bunch of pay for play, and 1140 WRMQ which also runs some pay for play. What I find unique about WRMQ is that they used to be a day timer, but now they are also on at night at a whopping 8 watts, which is less then flea power. I had always thought that the station I once worked at had it bad with 38 watts at night.

WRMQ with their 8 watt covers where most of their listeners are (Pine Hills) plus yesterday they were granted a translator for 103.7. So soon their will be two gospel stations in FM.

Last time I was in Orlando I didn't get a trace of 106.3, but we were in the Disney area down to Saint Cloud. 95.9 did fairly well in the Disney area but was gone in Saint Cloud. I made sure I left both 88.3 and 95.9 programmed on the rent car, but 88.3 was already there ---. Gospel is a bit nichey - don't care for it myself but obviously there is an audience for it in Orlando if it is supporting that many stations. I should be back soon, I will see if 103.7 is any better on "The Rock", but I doubt it. So far no rent cars have HD radio.
