AMP Radio 90.3 in Calgary to rebrand

Lance Venta from Radio Insight is reporting that CKMP 90.3 (AMP RADIO) in Calgary will be relaunching on Thursday August 1st at 9:00AM (MDT). Further details are not available at this time, however the rumour mill has AMP relaunching as RADIO 90.3 with Triple A. I find that hard to believe as Newcap already tried Triple A on that frequency several years ago with FUEL 90.3 and it was a bust. I'm more inclined to think that we'll see a 2nd Country station emerge in Calgary on August 1st.
