Are there any great Alternative Music DJ's?

As someone who travels a lot for work, I get to sample a lot of radio stations around the US and have noticed that Alternative stations play the best music for my preference, but the DJ's are rarely engaging or add to the station. Most try too hard to be cool or funny, while the others are just not very compelling.

Are there any great Alternative radio DJs still out there?
