Could Wilks exit Columbus

Big deal went down this week with Wilks selling their Kansas City radio cluster to Steel City Media.

Could Wilks consider exiting Columbus?.

If Wilks did consider exiting Columbus.. who would pick up their stations? Could Steel City Media consider also picking up Columbus (Steel is based out of Pittsburgh).

Could someone else consider Columbus? With the exception of QFM 96.3 WLVQ .. 95.5 and 107.1 are rim shot signals.

Could EMF consider going after Wilks in Columbus? Wilks in Reno recently sold a station to EMF Broadcasting. If EMF got a hold of Wilks cluster they could put KLove on 96.3 and Air1 on 95.5 and 107.1..

Of course this is all just guessing.. Wilks Kansas City was a good market for Wilks.

Not that it matters these days, but just pointing out that the backbone of both the Columbus and Kansas City clusters were both sister stations under Taft Broadcasting.
