KGZG Newport off the air

That's exactly how I heard, Radio Insight totally missed this one, as they also missed KDBZ's flip from AAA to Oldies. Wikipedia also states that the FCC has deleted the station's license, but Radio Locator still shows it as active, but off the air.

KGZG still appears in the FCC database

Google "Jamie Pendleton," "104.5 JAMZ" and "Spokane Downtown Daiquiri Factory." It'll give you a pretty good idea what happened to this station.

So... is there any life in KGZG these days? I see their website is up.

I'm not sure about the RD policy on posting news stories, but KHQ TV has a very insightful story on their website about a lack of sponsorship for the station after a major fiasco. I'm surprised that this could lead the the downfall of the station.
