That's exactly how I heard, Radio Insight totally missed this one, as they also missed KDBZ's flip from AAA to Oldies. Wikipedia also states that the FCC has deleted the station's license, but Radio Locator still shows it as active, but off the air.
No As much as I like oldies, I am almost positive that the oldies on 102.1 these days are no better than what you get on KMCQ. That is such a shame to hear about that AAA casualty.

I'm not sure about the RD policy on posting news stories, but KHQ TV has a very insightful story on their website about a lack of sponsorship for the station after a major fiasco. I'm surprised that this could lead the the downfall of the station.
