WMTW exiting Portland's Time and Temperature Building

The logistics of broadcasting news out of one cramped facility and the rest of the station out of Auburn drives the decision to consolidate in a "broadcast-ready" Westbrook facility, presumably the underutilized WPXT/WPME building on Ledgewood Drive. News will move there first with the rest of the operation to follow. Folks with long memories will recall that Channel 8 tried to do the same sort of thing decades ago but encountered howls of protest from 6 and 13, leading to WMTW's currently split operation. Is this the prelude to LMA-ing WPXT and WPME? Can that even be done with today's FCC?
