Great to see rick van cise on komo 4

Was great to see Rick Van Cise this morning on KOMO 4 Morning News. Though only substituting for Seth Wayne for a day, it was good to see him doing the weather again.
He already works in the building, doing news middays on KOMO AM/FM, wish they'd utilize him more subbing for the various weathercasters on Channel 4.
 
According to his Twitter, he's filling in all week.

If I was Seth Wayne I'd be pretty nervous (even if he is on pre-planned vacation). KOMO just dumped their second morning anchor in 18 months (come on, let's be real, no one gets out of a non-compete like that unless they are already on the way out the door) and Seth just doesn't seem to click in the morning.

Already on staff is Rick Van Cise ... and suddenly he's filling in for a week instead of Theron or Shannon...... This has to be a tryout with the latest anchor team (Goode, Koopmans, and the relatively new Paris Jackson).
 
Uh, cool your jets, KMan. Mr. Van Cise is the full-time early afternoon anchor on KOMO Radio. He's not on a "tryout" for a job he once held.

Shannon has been filling in for Steve Pool who - like Seth - had a death in the family. And Seth - despite your observation - isn't going anywhere.

As for Theron - he works weekends and reports during the week.
