KNAZ Flagstaff, which rebroadcasts KPNX NBC Phoenix, has once again begun High Definition broadcasting.
Owned by Gannett, KNAZ, virtual channel 2, physical channel 22, with translator K06AE-D atop Mingus Mtn, started H.D. telecasts about two years ago. The H.D.
lasted about 2-3 weeks then suddenly stopped until last week. Format is 16x9 and there are no subchannels at this time. Perhaps Gannett has finally found a buyer.
 
This morning, watched NBC programming in H.D. on KNAZ/ K06AE-D.
Tonight, It's back to standard definition...... or in this case, less
than standard definition. Perhaps in another two years, we'll have
another 10 or so days of H.D. on KNAZ.......
