Catching up on different topics, we have another FM station in El Cajon. 106.1 emanates from Shadow Mountain Church on Sunday
mornings, 9am to 12 noon . Using a Ramsey pvc dipole kit, it's audible 9 miles west to the Hwy 52 summit.

An LPFM app was dismissed for Hillcrest, on 101.1. The "Rice Church of America" was fabricated as a non-profit entity by a previous poster on this forum=

A Barrio Logan group is going ahead with plans for an AM on 1600.

And a video of them raising the antenna.

Of course, it's as legal as Shadow Mountains setup.

KURS is in the process of correcting the lack of ownership reports, and not having public files updated, going back to 2007. They also state
they are currently OFF AIR. Bonilla's TV ch 50-1 has added the Millenio TV feed; 50-2 is Veria, and the erratic 50-3 is --erratic.

Shotgun heard on KNX Wednesday afternoon talking with the news team about his return to KRTH. He sure was upbeat!

John Coleman dumps KUSI. So, how did his signature "K...UUUUUUU-S-I" exclamation come about? It came from the top of the McKinnon
enterprise. Instead of a fast, run-together 'KUSI' , the corporate mandate was to slightly emphasize the "U" . Of course, John, independent
character he is, took it to the extreme...which basically told management what he thought about that.
KUSI runs on a really tight budget, (example-their HD is 720, w/no sub-channels) and many times the production equipment just plain wore out or failed. Parts runs to Gateway, Western Radio, and Calif. Electronics helped keep some of the gear running.

I've been listening to 89.1, KNSJ, and I'm really feeling a lot more social justice. BUT, could they choose mono, OR stereo, and stick to it?
And their audio... I'd swear that the exciter is on the 50 microsecond preemphasis setting...muffled as it is.
