Bobby Denton

Did he still live in Knoxville at the time of his death? I had always heard that when he retired from WIVK, he had moved to Naples, Florida and flew on Fridays during football season so he could continue on in his role as PA Announcer for Tennessee Football at Neyland Stadium.
 
He indeed had two homes.. his health forced him to live in Florida most of the time, but he was in Neyland Stadium most football Saturday's.
 
A very sad loss. Knoxville's best Country announcer and favorite son. A Knoxville icon. There will never be another Bobby Denton.
