I was on my way to Panama City passing by Ocala and i just heard 99.7 on the air. It seems like they are going for a soft music format.

And a very familiar name on this board is listed on the website as GM/LSM. Congratulations to OK Walters!!

Thanks, Nostalgia. I left WLBE 790 in much better shape than when I got it and took this opportunity when offered to enter a larger market on FM. The Arroyos are veteran broadcasters and we are expecting good things from this combo, even if it is a brand new station starting from zero. Big change from worrying about old AM equipment to everything being brand new with state of the art equipment. It has been a learning experience watching the station be built by pros, and I have to say the Nautel transmitter we have is truly amazing. It will be interesting to see how the standards format does.

I wish you good luck with the new stations. I hope the FCC gets on the ball and approves the transfer so we can hear you in Gainesville!

Something I can listen to on terretial radio!

Set a preset on my car today. Finally a station I can enjoy in Ocala.

Congratulations, OK Walters!
