Power 96 1 Changes

Elvis on the way out in mornings, rumor of the NY based Breakfast Club coming ..could mean a shift to more of a rhythmic sounds like the old WILD ....

Elvis and crew talked about it at length on the show this morning . . . Tuesday is their last show. They seemed to think mornings were going to be all music.

So is this everyone's consensus that it will just be a music driven morning show??? I hope not that is boring......tweak this station PLEASE!!

Phew....Elvis Duran is leaving the station. Next step, tweak the music format to a WiLD type format that it once was.

I'm thinking a shift to Rhythmic is more likely. No way will CC not have a Premiere Choice morning show on POWER. I've noticed the local jocks are just saying "The New Power 961" and not mentioning "Atlanta's Most Hit Music." With that being said the horrible Nessa chick from California is still mentioning the Hit Music positioner and so are a couple of sweeps. At this point, it's no telling what CC Atlanta is really going to do.

They should go in the direction that the NEW Beat in Houston or where WiLD once was taking, leaving a more comfortable gap with Star, B and Q100. I really wish B98.5 went more Soft AC. If this is the case, this means NO Ryan Seacrest will cross over to Star.

Maybe?
