How to kill a radio station

How to kill a heritage rock station in 1 easy step. Sell it to JVC, where they don't have the ability to compete with other stations in the market, refuse to staff it with competent radio professionals, and in the end only want a station that will help them to fill an aging amphitheater. RIP WRCN, you rocked LI for 4 decades before a company that could not defeat you with 98.5 the Bone, had to purchase you to finally "win".

A simple wikipedia search shows 98.5 flipped to its current format 2 years before it was purchased by JVC dude. Plus your outrage would be more understandable if Long Island didn't have outlets for rock music on the radio dial.

Aside from being off topic, do I need to point out that you just did THE EXACT THING that you've been needlessly moaning about for years?
