Ain't heard much news lately ;) ......
How are things in the Macon market? Any news lately?
Anyone want to post a list of current stations, owners, formats?

Macon radio is all satellite I thought. Do they even have live local programming on the main music stations?

Q106 uses premium choice classic rock during the day and active rock or rock at night to compete with Rock 105.5 which has horrible imaging.

Macon radio is so blah but Savannah is right behind them. Only thing that keeps Savannah interesting are the Hilton Head stations though.

Credit to Savannah's WRHQ - Q 105.3 - unique blend of adult appeal rock and AC, independently owned. An interesting listen.

It is. It's considered AAA but I like to think of it as Adult Hits since they do a big focus on the 20 years or older songs. They play some modern stuff but not very much.
