You'd be surprised. They may not appeal to the boomer generation, but there will be new hosts who will find an audience and succeed.

I was posting in the context of "next in lines" being "trained and groomed". The syndicated hosts/hostesses either have the personality for it, or they don't. It cannot be trained and groomed into them, unless they choose to be made into something they were not when they started out.
 
I think that's true, and why I'm not a big fan of the so-called farm team. No one can teach you to be a personality.
 
There is a farm team, but it doesn't work the way most people think. Never did. Company A isn't developing a talent to work for Company A. They're developing talent that will eventually jump to Company B.
