The Minneapolis radio anchor was treated at the hospital for cuts to his head and a contusion to his chest wall. He was robbed of his wallet during the attack. Murphy tells myfox9.com he was jogging to catch the bus to work at 2:30 a.m. Thursday morning when he noticed a white SUV. "I had just jogged down 53rd Street and I could see the headlights behind me. I thought at the time, 'If I see him again, I'm in trouble.'"

Poor guy!! This makes me MAD. Every time I have to go out on foot, I take *something* with me- whether it be a deadly weapon or less than lethal "zapper": my hand held taser. I keep it in my hand with the safety off, so if I had to "zap" someone at an instant's notice I am ready. 2:30AM out n about is a rough time to be out in any city, I have no idea what its like in Minneapolis however. I hope he turns out ok.
