Piolin Replacements

It would be interesting to know what Syndicated show the affiliates chose. In Portland its been reported they are using Don Cheto and in some smaller markets I have been told El Mandril. El Mandril happened to be beating Piolin in Los Angeles....Now that Piolin is headed to Satellite, the next question is how will Satellite promote him?

Don't forget — GLR has made Renán Alméndarez Coello available for syndication! ...Yeah, good luck with that. :D

Portland is replacing Piolín with Don Cheto because Salem, the station's owner had him in Seattle, after Adelante Media Group snatched Piolín from them in that market.

As for Adelante, they have said they are waiting for whatever Univision is going to offer. Univision has already put El Primo on mornings in Dallas and Raúl Brindis in El Paso (who is already syndicated in most of South Texas). But as for now, there is nothing in LA, Chicago, Phoenix, San Francisco, etc. I'm surprised they haven't put Brindis in those markets, since he is syndicated there Saturday mornings. Brindis is from NE Mexico, while Piolín is from Jalisco, so I don't know what's going on.

That has more to do with the fact that Salem's consultant has put Cheto in several markets, both recently and in the past.

Looks like Adelante got tired of waiting; they're syndicating Don Cheto on La Gran D.

Univision better get their own morning show going soon. The grouchy old man and the baboon are ganging up on the tweety bird's old stations.

That's why in LA and San Francisco in the three weeks after the bird died the ratings have gone up?
