Kidd Kraddick has passed away...

Sorry to hear about any radio personality dying, but I have to say that I never heard of him before. What Los Angeles station was he on?

Kidd Kraddick's morning show was not heard on any stations in California. Of the stations airing his show, the closest to Los Angeles is Z93, KLJZ in Yuma, Arizona. Their home page has not yet been updated with the news of Kraddick's death:

Trying to do a Kidd Kraddick program without Kidd Kraddick? Isn't that like trying to continue the Sanford & Son tv series without Sanford and the son? (The reworked series, The Sanford Arms, didn't last long.) On August 5, after a week of repeats of older broadcasts, the Kidd Kraddick show will again be broadcast live from KHKS and syndicated to 75 other stations. Jenna Owens, Kellie Rasberry, “Big Al” Mack and Jose “J-Si” Chavez will be there.....but---obviously---no Kidd Kraddick.

Actually, 106.9 The Eagle in Palm Springs is closer to LA then the Yuma Station. Kidd Kraddick was heard on Crush 103.9 in Palm Springs then got switched over to sister station 106.9 The Eagle.
