Has Fun. Jumped The Shark?

If having a song being played in a commercial is jumping the shark, then a whole bunch of artists have jumped the shark. By the way, "Carry On" is also being used in a commercial.

I question the notion that just because your song is featured in an ad, therefore you are selling out." Personally, it doesn't faze me, and quite often that little known song from some abscure indie group will actually gain traction because some ad guru thought it would sound good. With the addition of apps like Shazam on to the scene, it can only be good for the artists.
