WBGO HD2 Jazz Stream Links

pjc1961

Star Participant
As mentioned in this previous thread here, WBGO launched an HD2 channel called The Jazz Stream in late January. The 2nd channel promotes emerging jazz artists and styles along with some classics and highlights from interviews, live broadcasts and studio sessions.

Two articles about the channel are on the station's blog: here and here

Both articles have a link to the streaming audio player: http://www.wbgo.org/internal/mediaplayer/?type=hd2&tracker=20120607

The direct streaming URL to plug into various media players: http://wbgo.streamguys.net/thejazzstream

NYC is the only radio market anywhere I would actually listen to more stations on my HD radio than I have presets, and I probably don't even know about some of the smaller ones.

Here we are, nearly five years later, and the Jazz Bee is barely mentioned on WBGO's website,
but there are links to audio streams and they do work, and the "streamguys" link still says
"WBGO-HD2 - The Jazz Bee".
So, are they treating it like a bastard stepchild placeholder, or what?
I do not live in the Apple, but I would set a preset for them if I did.
