Ray Cruz back on the Radio: About to buy WIAC?

Apparently they're also on 91.7 in Mayaguez and 90.1 in the South... what's the deal with that? ??? Aren't these frecuencies reserved for non-comms?

Unless this is some unholy concept of a Christian news station... the concept sounds like a WAPA radio thing waiting to happen.

What I'm surprised about is that Puerto Rico has yet to develop a popular Christian station on FM. Given how Puerto Rican Christian music has quite a few artists that sell well and attract a large fan base.

With shares that rank it in the 8th to 12 place, WNVE/WNVM do very well considering that they do not cover most of the Island (which is a single market). In the past, before changes in the morning show, the station was frequently around 6th or 7th.

In fact, the religious and Christian market is full of stations so there is a degree of fragmentation there.
