Good move bad move??

Please refer to the Texas Board

Good move by BMP. 102.1's signal would make it difficult for most formats to succeed. With so many loyal Tejano listeners in South Texas, this may just work.

KKPS move to Regional was also a good move. A full time Norteno format may be very successful in the heart of Norteno country. There are only two of these formats (One in Houston, the other now being KKPS) and it would be interesting to see how they work. KQQK of course sits in one of the worst rimshots in Houston and is not doing so well.

OK Green... There are only two of them in Texas, but you need to ask yourself why. KGBT owns a Norteño image, and is legendary, but they are playing more Banda these days. XHRR is the same. Unless KKPS knows something we don't.

Thanks for the 102.1 note. Tejanos are very loyal in South Texas. Let's face it, Tejano was born in the RGV.
