Who made money?

Top revenue stations in Seattle in 2010 in no particular order: KRWM, KPLZ, KZOK, KOMO, KIRO. All live, local and in their formats for years, two didn't even make the top ten 25-54 ratings average for the year and one didn't make the top five. Seems live, local and consistent is more important than just numbers...

Indeed, and might I remind that some member of this discussion board predicted or proclaimed that KPLZ and AC was done, KZOK was over without Rivers, and KIRO essentially committed business suicide by moving solely to FM.

You might want to consider that KIRO and KOMO carry approximate DOUBLE the spot load of most music stations. That's one advantage of spoken word formats. If KIRO or KOMO carried music station type loads, they'd be no where close to the top of the revenue column.

Uh - Rivers was with KZOK for most of 2010, Guru. So you're 2 for 3.
