Legendary Jim Richards to CLick FM

AQH was sort of right. Wikipedia says 106.1 KISS flirted with a Rhythmic AC format in 1996 here in Seattle-Tacoma.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KBKS-FM (paragraph 5)

My memory is fuzzy (too much drugs and alcohol) but I seem to remember them playing "The Humpty" dance song alot. I'm not sure if that is what I'm thinking when I say Rhythmic AC. Oh well, I guess we'll just have to see what happens to 104.5 when it gets sold and hope for an updated variation of smooth jazz.

I really hope that people (In general) know that ANYONE at ANYTIME can edit Wikipedia, and that it should not be taken seriously as a accurate source of information.

I highly doubt that will ever happen. Whoever is willing to shell out the kind of $$ that they are asking for KMCQ, will want to at least TRY to break even withing a couple of years.
That simply wont happen with Smooth Jazz in PPM. Smooth Jazz has become a "Niche" format that is perfect for HD Radio Audiences on an HD-2 or HD-3
