Another Surgery for Kathi

In case you missed it, Kathi Goertzen heads in for her sixth surgery on her brain tumor tomorrow.

I'd been curious about how her health was progressing, after her last surgery she returned to the anchor desk for a month, but then left abruptly left us again. Over the last two years she's done some reporting, but in the last few, the camera never showed her face. Additionally, Eric Johnson is no longer doing sports, instead anchoring more newscasts, to help fill the void she's left.

Here's hoping all goes well.

For somebody like myself who has dealt with some serious health issues the past couple years I have nothing but respect for Kathi and her attitude and courage through all of this. She has been an inspiration to me and I am sure many others who might have not given the good fight if not for her example...
 
FYI ... they have a FB page (I think it's KathiGoertzenKOMO) where they are suggesting people post their encouragement -- and she will be reading all those posts while in recovery (presumably as early as later today).
