Giants On KNBR: #7 In National Numbers

According to (deep breath) the Mid-Season 2010 Arbitron Sports Report: PPM Radio Listening for Pro Baseball, the Giants on Sports Leader KNBR are the seventh most-listened-to team overall -- behind the Angels, but ahead of the Dodgers. Los Atleticos de Oakland don't appear in the report, which only lists the top fifteen teams (all listeners 6+ average game cume).

The Yankees and Mets run #1 and #2 on the list.

In the top fifteen for Men 25-54 (average game share), the Giants are tenth. Interestingly, the ratings for this demo include some of the lower-tier teams, such as the Kansas City Royals and the Pittsburgh Pirates, both of which, I believe were major league teams back in the 1970s and 1980s.

Neither the Yankees, Mets, Angels or Dodgers are in the top fifteen Men 25-54.
