NEED SOME NEW PLUGINS? CAKEWALK IS GIVING SOME AWAY...

Thanks for the info, Rob.

Having never used Cakewalk before, I wonder if these are Cool Edit Pro compatible (or any different than options already on CEP if they are compatible). Do you need Cakewalk for these to be useful?
 
The FX ones are VST compatible - don't know about the other two (I just got the FX ones). If you don't have a VST host app Audacity (freeware editor) does.

Another cool freebie is Vinyl from Izotope: http://www.izotope.com/products/audio/vinyl/

Obviously not something you're going to want to use on everything, but it has come in handy for me many times. And if you're looking to spend some coin on plugins, the rest of Izotope's line is very reasonably priced for some killer toys... Ozone is great for mastering, and Trash gives killer distortion effects.
