Spanish Catholic KFJZ 870 flips to Hindi Buddhist "Radio Namaste"

I was returning from vacation in Joplin, MO this week and checking reception from DFW stations in
Oklahoma, noticed that KFJZ 870 is no longer Spanish language Catholic, but someting called
Radio Namaste. (Namaste is a greeting variously translated as "The Divinity within me perceives and adores
the Divinity within you.")

Their messed up website claims KFJZ 870 is an FM station broadcasting with 15,700 watts!

KZMP-FM 104.9 is "Radio Salaam Namaste"...looks like the rsn1049.com website now points here. Perhaps the format is moving from 104.9 to 870 (looks like they just replaced 104.9 with 870 and didn't update the other technical information). Perhaps the lease with Liberman for 104.9 is ending?

It appears that the "Namaste" format has indeed migrated from the FM, as 104.9 is now branded as "FunAsia" radio, in concert with 3 area Bollywood theaters under the FunAsia name.

104.9 has been playing dance/electronica on Friday night/Saturday morning and Saturday night/Sunday morning. Wonder if that will move to 870 or stay on 104.9?

Does anyone know the COL for 104.9? I tried on my house radio and nothing but static ..however when i tried my little am/fm on the ears walkman I could hear it faintly. Sounds middle eastern from what I am hearing right now.

City of License is technically Pilot Point. Transmitter is located further north on the other side of Ray Roberts:

Isn't 850 Spanish Catholic? I thought 870 was Spanish language preach and teach?

Just for kicks and grins, I surfed over to the website. I've heard better streams of water. As I write this, the stream sounds like it's playing the off-air (and off-frequency, at that) signal. It will, from time to time, sound like it's "locked on"...then more junk.

Well, I got my answer. Looks like FunAsia is still playing dance...

FunAsia also programs KHSE 700. It doesn't look like 700 and 104.9 simulcast...both using the FunAsia name, but with separate programming.
