Classic Artists Today - Great Music Shows For LPFM or Internet Stations

Hi There:

I host and produce one of the two shows that are offered. But these would be great offerings for those with limited programming budgets and yet who are looking for exceptional programming.

Classic Artists Today (The CAT) - is great for a AAA format, offering new music from classic artists (20+ years). It featured artist interviews, tribute segments and some classic songs now and then too. Hosted by Ray White

CooolCAT - is great for R&B or Urban AC formats. Similar to CAT but focuses on R&B, Soul, Blues, and Smooth Jazz genres. Hosted and produced by Jody Thornton.

I don't think that Ray charges for these shows but I could be wrong. Nonetheless, I think it's worth checking out.

Cheers,
Jody Thornton

Bump!

I no longer host it, but I produce a segment called "One To Remember". Lisa Davis now hosts Coool CAT and it's worth a listen for potential syndication options.

My station, WRSG, runs both "Classic Artists Today" and "Coool Cat." Both are a great addition to our noncom variety station.

Classic Artists Today is a really good show. We've been running it for a few weeks and are proud to have it on our station. I highly recommend it.

I'm really glad to see these shows getting some attention on these boards. Good for Ray in getting some attention to the AAA format.
