The guy was lumping "Urban" stations together like they're all the same.

Do you think Urban stations aren't programmed for a black audience? Do you think B101 isn't programmed for a white audience?

"Music" is a universal language. Individual genres of music appeal do different segments of society.
 
Music is a universal language, but wouldn't you agree that black listeners prefer mostly black music, where-as white/hispanic/asian listeners tend to embrace all types of music, just from what I observe.
