How many on AM, aside from the 500,000 watt powerhouse of XEW?

XEW was never 500 kw. In fact, in much of the 80's and 90's, they ran less than the licensed 250 kw.

Talkers, including sports, include leading talker Radio Fórmula on 970, Radio Red on 1110 which was the one-time leader, sports on 760 and 730, all news on 790, talk on 690, 830, 900, 1000, the second Radio Fórmula on 1470, with 1290, 1260, 1560 and 1320 also all or part talk. There is talk and motivational content with music on 1030.

There are a half dozen or so FM talkers and part talkers. Overall, the market has aobut 62 or so fulltime radio stations.
