They already play these groups on K Hits. If you are talking about songs other than what they overplay by these groups, then I'm for it too.

Yes not the overplayed but the other hits! Here are some others!

New York groove-Ace Frehley
Gonna fly now- Bill conti ok it's the theme from Rocky, but makes you feel good!
Leaning on the Lampost- Hermans hermits
GLORIA- shadows of knight
i Gotcha-Joe Tex
Help me Rhonda-beach boys--never hear it
My eyes adored you- Frankie Valli--- they may play it but I dont think they do.

You've got my vote, Stan. Since we're infusing 80's music like Escape Club, Level 42's "Something About You" would be great. What the hell, maybe throw in a Poison ballad track like "I Won't Forget You" or "Every Road Has It's Thorn", leaving harder songs like "Nothing But A Good Time" and "Fallen Angel" over on The Point. Since K-Hits dropped the "60's and 70's" tag line, I personally would take the station to a "Decades" format featuring the greatest Hits of all decades from the 50's to 90's. What I'd give to hear Bill Haley's "Rock Around The Clock" on the radio again, instead of from a re-run of older Happy Days episodes.

I would love to see K-Hits branch back to the late 50s and early 60s with "Rock Around the Clock," some Del Shannon, and more songs from that era. What a great idea a "decades" format would be. I'd LOVE it.

I think the 50s thru the 90s would be hard to win I think the 70's some 60's would be best

Unless they plan on ditching the '80's (plus) format on "The Point(less)", I don't want to hear any 80's songs on K-Hits. There are plenty of 70's hits that they don't touch, that they could play. I'd also like it if they did a 50's and early 60's show on the weekends, for the people that still want to hear "real" oldies.
