WOEZ Knoxville dropping Beautiful Music...

Some friends and I are building a group of online-only, mostly locally-based, not-for-profit beautiful music stations in order to preserve the format. I actually listed to the station via the internet. It was not a traditional Beautiful Music station. It had a mix of Smooth Jazz, Soft Instrumental covers and some very soft light rock and a standard or two.

I think if someone wants to recall beautiful music radio in Knoxville, they would want to remember WEZK, not this station. There was also WUUU. I don't know anything about either one.
