The Result:

(I would have tried "Cop a plea" or something but its plural...doesn't leave much else)

I really did mean "Alex".

Alex Dryer (or Drier) was a radio commentator on CBS back in the 40's and 50's. He later went on to play a number of cameo roles in early TV dramas. I suppose I could just "Google" him but I'm too busy and too lazy (odd combo, I know) today.
