With some more fines down the pike (a station in Columbus and I believe a few others), I have a question that I wish someone would answer.

Why is it always small stations in smaller markets that get the heat for Howard, while Infinity's big three -- KLSX L.A., WCKG Chicago & WXRK N.Y.C. never get fined?

Funny how the FCC likes to slap Howard on the wrist by making the little guys pay or offer up apologies and drop him all together, but they wont go and piss off the stockholders of a media conglomerate.

I know they went after Viacom for the Super Bowl, but this Howard thing has been a crusade for over a decade.

The government continues to screw the little guy, but in the cities where he has the largest audiences (and Infinity makes the most cash) go without paying up.

I DONT WANT ANYONE GETTING FINED!!! But aint it funny?

The FCC can only fine the stations they receive complaints about. Listeners in the three largest markets probably don't complain.

Otherwise, they'd fine his originating station (WXRK) each time, which would eventually knock him off the air for good. Not that it matters now, since he has like 3 weeks left.
